My latest jewelry creations soon to be posted on etsy

I have been into recycling vintage objects into my jewelry including buttons, recycled pieces of vintage jewelry, etc.

Earrings were very popular to be worn large, which seems to be coming back, so sometimes if I come across a single earring, the charm that is attached can be taken off and used as a pendent for a necklace.
And of course I love working with my stones.

I go on PBS.com to let Maya do all the nice activities on there. She acts like she is such a big shot using the computer like the grown ups! So I had to take a picture. Maya was asleep, so I got in the shower, and when I got out this is what I found. Isn't it sweet?
Plum has Maya all figured out, she likes to sleep next to Maya, but waits until she is asleep so she can make a peaceful entry.

Not much to write about

I had my surgery, and recovered without too much fuss. The pain I had been having is gone. See not much, lol.

Wolfgang

The Wolfgang poll was fun, the way I came up with Wolfgang is, I was watching a movie and in the credits there was a guy (?) named Wolfgang. I thought that would be a really cool name to name a boy, especially rare too. I told Jeffrey and he was like "Hell naw!!!"

Well

Today's big day went really well. Maya's teeth look good. She wasn't too upset and she looked at them in the mirror and she says they are princess teeth. I guess because they are silver, lol.

I went to take my drivers permit test, which is given on a computer now, and...................I PASSED!!!!!


YIPPEE! That's the first step to learning to drive now I feel like I'm getting somewhere.

This is kinda a big day

I am going to take my drivers permit exam. I've studied and studied, so wish me luck .

Also our sweet little Maya is getting her teeth capped finally after two cancelled appointments.

Then I have to go in for "blood work" for my surgery that I'm having Monday. Not sure what all that means but it sounds like a lot of needles being stuck into me.

stephen king

i was up alone tonight in the living room reading a Stephen King novel and suddenly got a little creeped out and shivery! just when you think you have matured to a stage in which you can read a Stephen King novel in a silent house, that's when you realize he still scares the s*&t out of you!

sorry guys i meant to post this a while ago, but i've been out of sorts. it is my first bible piece i belive i am going to title it "the first mortal sin" or maybe "adam and eve".

We got a new addition to the family

Her name is Plum and she is very cuddly and playful. I love her to peices! Here is some pics.

A SIN OR A TABOO?

OK, EVERY ONE COMMENT ON THIS ONE CAUSE I WAS REALLY WONDERING WHAT PEOPLE THINK.

HERE IS THE SCENARIO:

I HAVE THIS BIBLE THAT IS LITERALLY FALLING APART THAT A GOOD FRIEND OF THE FAMILY GAVE US. I DON'T WANT TO KEEP IT BUT I DO WANT TO BASICALLY DESTROY IS FOR COLLAGES. IS IT A SIN TO THROW A BIBLE IN THE TRASH, OR JUST TABOO? AND HOW ABOUT DEMOLISHING IT FOR THE SAKE OF ART?

They are so smart every little change i make to their environment, like new bedding, fresh food, a new to, they come out right away and check it out. pics of there new home coming soon.

WE FINALLY GOT OUR OWN PLACE. IT IS A SPACIOUS 1 BEDROOM, AND I REALLY LIKE IT. IT IS AMAZING HOW GREAT IT FEELS TO HAVE YOUR OWN PLACE, AND SPACE.

Our old mousie home

My friend Megan brought me a larger tank for Mickey and Minnie, but this was the old home with the second deck. They liked it qiute a bit. Megan told me how to make something similar in the new tank too so when i get that done I'll post a picture.

the butterfly loom

My mom bought me a butterfly loom because it was on sale for 6.47 and usually cost 29.99. So I started making the squares that it produces and It is quite addictive. I made the first square sticking to the technique but by the time I got to the second square I couldn't help but to experiment some, and the 3rd square was all experimentation. Now I am on my forth. I should put some pictures of them soon. Eventually I'll start putting them together and making things. Some of my goals are, blankets, pillows, Shaw's, a Pancho for Maya, and maybe a hat or two if i can figure out how.
