Some of my new creations

This one is inspired by my sister who bought a beaded bracelet on wire and said she wished it was dangly, so this one is on 4 strands of beading thread and should be pretty strong, and it dangly.

Care bears

Anyone who remembers Care Bears knows that the cubs often say "Goody-Goody-Gosh" all the time. Care Bears being one of Maya's favorite shows, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that after giving her some Pizza, which is her favorite thing lately, she says "Goody-Goody-Gosh", and then licks her lips. She is a character, and the characters that are her favorites seem to influence her character.

fog

Do you ever have a day that you feel like you are walking through a thick fog all day. The last few days have been like that for me, anyone know how I can get out?

Driving

Driving has been going well. We drove on some streets, and it was fun. I am truly getting excited about the next time I get to drive. It is great!

Raisin Fingers

The other day I let Maya take a bubble bath and let her play a while longer than usual because she was just having so much fun. Then I got her out, dried her off and dressed her, and went to make lunch. About five minutes later she came to me, already practically in tears, and said, "Mommy, Maya's fingers!" I looked at them and they looked normal except for being little raisins because of staying in the bath so long. I asked her "What happened to your fingers?" She replied, in a very angry voice, "The water did this!" Most kids like the raisin fingers, but Maya got very upset!

Maya is so funny

Grammy was asking Maya where something was, she was like bent over talking to Maya, and you know what Maya tells Grammy?

not where what ever it was- was

she tells her " You've got eyes!", LOL

Grammy says " here i am trying to have a serious conversation with her and she tells me I have eyes"

Maya even had a serious look on her face, like she was going to tell us where- what ever it was-was.

The things Maya will say!

Just now she was asking me to cut her a piece of yarn. I was busy, so I told her " Not right now" and she replied with a very polite, "Very well". How in the world does a three year old tell you that, LOL.

Maya paints pumpkins

Maya's cousin Sarah looked like she had so much fun painting pumpkins in my sister's blog, that when my mom's boss sent 2 cute lil' pumpkins home for Maya I decided to let her paint some too.

Driving

Driving has been going well. I think I drove 2 times. Of course just in a parking lot so far. The first time I was nervous, but once I did it, I got behind the wheel and actually did it, I felt really great! Next time I believe we are going to go on a road, I can't wait!

My best guess:

You know how sometimes you have too much time to think, lol. Well I was thinking that this must be how our predecessors got the idea to make felt.

One day someone is cleaning out a hair brush and notices how all the hair comes out in a sheet. They note how being a hair brush this is kinda gross but, what if you used cleaner methods and materials, you could totally use this for something, like a type of material.

What do you think?

I am officially selling Avon

I just got started selling Avon. I'm excited. I hope I do well, wish me luck.

Here are the rest of the park pics that I was posting a long time ago.

Maya is still not sure if she likes the swings or not. She asks to get in them every time but still makes faces like she is scared out of her mind. Poor thing.
But she definitely loves the slides.

Yes you see correctly Jeffrey and I thought it would be fun to climb to the top of this thing, and it was fun.

My latest jewelry creations soon to be posted on etsy

I have been into recycling vintage objects into my jewelry including buttons, recycled pieces of vintage jewelry, etc.

Earrings were very popular to be worn large, which seems to be coming back, so sometimes if I come across a single earring, the charm that is attached can be taken off and used as a pendent for a necklace.
And of course I love working with my stones.

Cute Pics

I go on PBS.com to let Maya do all the nice activities on there. She acts like she is such a big shot using the computer like the grown ups! So I had to take a picture. Maya was asleep, so I got in the shower, and when I got out this is what I found. Isn't it sweet?
Plum has Maya all figured out, she likes to sleep next to Maya, but waits until she is asleep so she can make a peaceful entry.

Wolfgang

The Wolfgang poll was fun, the way I came up with Wolfgang is, I was watching a movie and in the credits there was a guy (?) named Wolfgang. I thought that would be a really cool name to name a boy, especially rare too. I told Jeffrey and he was like "Hell naw!!!"

Well

Today's big day went really well. Maya's teeth look good. She wasn't too upset and she looked at them in the mirror and she says they are princess teeth. I guess because they are silver, lol.

I went to take my drivers permit test, which is given on a computer now, and...................I PASSED!!!!!

YIPPEE! That's the first step to learning to drive now I feel like I'm getting somewhere.

This is kinda a big day

I am going to take my drivers permit exam. I've studied and studied, so wish me luck .

Also our sweet little Maya is getting her teeth capped finally after two cancelled appointments.

Then I have to go in for "blood work" for my surgery that I'm having Monday. Not sure what all that means but it sounds like a lot of needles being stuck into me.

stephen king

i was up alone tonight in the living room reading a Stephen King novel and suddenly got a little creeped out and shivery! just when you think you have matured to a stage in which you can read a Stephen King novel in a silent house, that's when you realize he still scares the s*&t out of you!

i just realized...
